    100% SLA on Power

N+1 parallel UPS configuration for full redundancy, with multiple MCBs ensuring A+B power distribution to each rack, supported by an onsite JCB backup generator.

    Premium Transit

Using only the highest quality carriers like Bandwidth Technologies, Cogent, Telia, GTT and NTT with internet exchanges such as LINX and LONAP gives you the best possible routing and choice.

    Owned & Operated

Rackspace at our Cambridge Data Centre

Fast2host owns and operates its private, fully managed data centre in Cambridge, offering space for hundreds of servers. Our data centre is designed to meet the high availability and redundancy standards typically associated with Tier 3 facilities. Featuring N+1 power and cooling infrastructure, along with resilient, high-speed connectivity, we ensure continuous uptime and a stable environment for your mission-critical operations.

Our BGP network (AS48825) provides carrier independence and full redundancy across power, connectivity, and on-site security. All critical infrastructure is protected by a Riello N+1 UPS system and diesel generator backup, enabling us to deliver a 100% SLA on power availability — all powered by 100% renewable energy from clean sources.

At the edge, our network is serviced by Juniper MX240 with dual routing engines connected to LONAP, LINX peering exchanges as well as multiple tier one carriers including Bandwidth Technologies, Arelion, Cogent and GTT at a minimum of 10Gbps. Our dual IPv4/IPv6 stack encompasses over 550+ carrier connections and connects with all major UK ISPs including Microsoft, BT, TalkTalk and SKY, located at Telehouse, Equinix LD8 and City Reach, London (DDCL).

All monitored 24/7 by our technical support staff — a high-speed network spanning multiple UK data centres, designed for redundancy, speed, and security.

    Connectivity

Fast2host runs a high-speed, MPLS-enabled UK network designed for redundancy, speed, and security. All sites have multiple internet failover routes and 10Gbps+ inter-site links. We use Juniper MX routers and EX series switches in a dual-stack IPv4/IPv6 setup. With multiple 10Gbps uplinks to Tier 1 providers, we also peer at LONAP and LINX with partners including BT, Virgin Media, Sky, Level 3, and NTT.

    Power Infrastructure

100% SLA on Power. We operate an N+1 power infrastructure with dual A/B power feeds to the racks, each supported by a dedicated Riello UPS in an N+1 configuration. This ensures continuous power delivery — if one UPS fails, the other seamlessly takes over. In the event of a prolonged outage, an automatic diesel generator provides sustained backup to keep our data centre fully operational with fuel to last 7 days.

    Secure APC Racks

Our secure 750mm-wide APC server racks are high-performance, multi-functional enclosures designed to support modern IT demands, including high-density computing and networking applications. They feature advanced cable management systems integrated with the mounting rails, aligning with U-space positions to ensure efficient, organised cable routing and optimal airflow.

    N+N Stulz Cooling

Our Stulz precision cooling system is configured with N+N redundancy, ensuring uninterrupted operation even in the event of a unit failure. The setup includes Hot Aisle Containment and multiple high-efficiency cooling units, and integrated humidifiers and air filtration maintain optimal air quality, while a consistent temperature of 20°C ensures your servers operate in a clean, stable environment.

    Security

Our data centre is equipped with multiple layers of security to ensure that only authorised personnel have access, operating in line with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards. Located on a secure business park with CCTV and roaming security patrols. Our facility is monitored 24/7 by CCTV cameras, with a state-of-the-art alarm system. All areas are access controlled with door entry systems and monitored 24/7/365 by our staff.

    100% Renewable

Energy is one of the most significant costs in any data centre. We leverage sustainable energy sources and cutting-edge energy management systems to minimise consumption without compromising performance. Our efficient cooling infrastructure, server optimisation strategies, and commitment to renewable energy significantly reduce our carbon footprint and energy costs — savings we proudly pass on to our clients.
